Section 36

Any surpluses or deficiencies discovered by the Stock Verifier or a Board of Survey shall be confirmed at the time of the survey by the Accounting Officer or his deputy who shall sign a certificate to this effect on the report form. The Stock Verifier or Chairman of the Board of Survey shall ensure that this certificate, duly signed, is incorporated in the report. Accounting Officers shall ensure that all Board of Survey or Stock Verifier’s Reports sent to them for comments are promptly dealt with and returned to the Accountant General as soon as possible and in any case not later than one month after receipt by the Accounting Officer.
