Section 25

The first task of a newly appointed Finance Officer will be to organise the finance division. In doing so he will be working with the guidance of the Ministry of Finance, the Accountant General’s department and the Audit Department. In carrying the reorganisation through he will inevitably come into conflict with previous methods, and perhaps with personalities. His task will not be an easy one, and he will need all the support which can be given to him - he will certainly have the full support of the Ministry of Finance and the Cabinet. Broadly speaking, the finance division will be divided into two branches: one dealing with financial matters and the other dealing with stores.
