Regulations relating to staff

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Board may make Regulations determining generally the conditions of service of employees of the Institute, and in particular, may make regulations relating to– (a) the appointment, dismissal, discipline, hours of work, pay and leave of such employees; (b) appeals by employees against dismissal or other disciplinary measures; (c) the grant of pensions, gratuities, salaries or to the and their dependents; and 26 (d) the and maintenance of superannuation funds and provident funds and the contributions payable thereto and the benefits received therefrom. (2) Regulations made under sub-section (1), shall not apply to the Director-General and the Deputy Director-General.
