Deputy Registrars in remote localities

(1) Subject to the approval of the Minister, the respective district Registrars may appoint deputy Registrars of births and deaths for places in Belize so remote from the respective district registries as to render it impracticable or difficult for parties to attend before them to register births and deaths occurring in such places. (2) Such deputy Registrars shall, as far as practicable, transmit transcripts of their register, to their respective district Registrars in time to enable them to complete their monthly returns hereinafter mentioned.
