Repeal of S.I. No. 55 of 2010

The Census Order, 2010 is hereby revoked. __________ 18 SCHEDULE [paragraph 7] 1. In respect of every person– (a) the name, sex, date of birth, age, usual place of residence; (b) relationship to head of household, birth place, ethnicity, religion, languages spoken; (c) where census night was spent; (d) number of years lived in the city, town or village and district; (e) city, town or village and district last lived in; (f) whether ever lived abroad, country last lived and reason for return/coming to live in Belize; (g) whether disabled or infirm, and if so, type of disability/ infirmity; whether there is chronic or long-term illness; and (h) migration status. 2. In respect of all persons 2 years old and older– (a) the type of school now being attended, the nature of attendance at such school; and (b) the highest level and field of educational attainment. 3. In respect of foreign-born persons onlyCensus 19 (a) the year of immigration; (b) country last lived in; and (c) main reason for migration to Belize. 4. In respect of all persons 5 years old and older– (a) use of Internet; and (b) place of Internet access and device used. 5. In respect of all persons 14 years old and over– (a) job or occupation for which trained, the methods by which training was acquired; (b) whether worked during last week, main type of economic activity in last week; (c) industry and occupation of employment; (d) category of worker, number of hours worked during last week; (e) income; (f) value of remittance received from abroad; and (g) insurance coverage. 6. In respect of all persons 15 years old and over– (a) legal marital status; (b) union status; and (c) age at first marriage, common-law or visiting partner relationship. 20 Census 7. In respect of all females 15 to 49 years inclusive– (a) number and gender of live born children ever had; number living in household, number living elsewhere; and number died (if any); (b) age when first live-born child was born to her, her age at birth of her last live-born child; and (c) number of live births during past 12 months, number that died (if any). 8. In respect of every inhabited dwelling– (a) type of dwelling and year built, land tenure, materials of outer walls, materials for roofing, materials for floor; (b) water supply, lighting, toilet facilities, fuel used in kitchen, garbage disposal; (c) number of rooms and bedrooms; (d) ownership of air conditioner, microwave oven, washing machine, stove, radio, television set, electrical generator, mobile/cellular phone, tablet/computer, private vehicle, refrigerator; (e) telephone, cable TV and Internet access; and (f) insurance coverage. 9. In respect of persons who have gone to live abroad during the ten years between 2010 and 2020– (a) country migrated to; (b) year of departure; Census 21 (c) age, occupation, sex, level of education at departure; and (d) reason for migrating. 10. In respect of the head or a responsible informant from all households– (a) ownership of farm land and practice of agriculture; (b) environmental issues of concern; (c) sources of environmental information; (d) mortality; (e) food security; and (f) crime.
