Person to supply information

Information for the purpose of the Census with information. respect to the persons described in paragraph 4 shall be furnished by16 (a) the householder or persons in charge of even dwelling with respect to all persons who pass census night on the premises of that dwelling or who are usually resident in that dwelling; (b) the proprietor or manager of every hotel, boarding house, boarding school, hostel or similar institution, or any person thereunto duly authorized by such proprietor or manager, with respect to al! persons who pass census night on the premises of that hotel, boarding house, boarding school, hostel or similar institution or are usually resident therein; (c) the person in charge of every public or private hospital, nursing home, alms house, house for the aged or infirm or similar institution with respect to all persons who pass census night on the premises of any such institution; (d) the homeless persons; (e) the director of prisons or officer in charge of every prison and the officer in charge of even lock-up with respect to all persons who pass census night on the premises of that prison or look-up.
