Power of entry inspection etc. Protection of officers

For the purpose of determining whether the provisions of these Regulations are being complied with by an operator and for the better administration of these Regulations it shall be lawful for an authorized officer to enter any slaughterhouse or knacker’s yard at any reasonable hour, and to inspect the slaughterhouse pens, chutes and other facilities connected therewith.
