Declaration of Town

All that area known as Belmopan and more fully described in the Schedule hereby is hereby declared to be a Town for the purpose of the Dogs Act. Town. 8 Dogs (Control) SCHEDULE (Notice 2) ALL THAT PIECE or parcel of land containing approximately 946 acres known as Belmopan, situated in the Cayo District and bounded as follows: On the North, East and South by lands belonging to Reconstruction and Development Corporation and on the West by the Hummingbird Highway and being more particularly described as follows– (a) commencing at a point being the Southern corner of the junction of Constitution Drive with the Hummingbird Highway; (b) thence along the South Eastern side of said Constitution Drive in a North Easterly direction for a distance of 850 metres to a point; (c) thence in a South Easterly direction for an approximate distance of 690 metres to a concrete pillar at the South Western corner of parcel No. 805 occupied by the Belmopan Comprehensive School; (d) thence on a grid bearing of 89º 11’ 06’’ for a grid distance of 212.570 metres to a concrete pillar at the South Eastern corner of the said parcel No. 805; (e) thence Southerly for an approximate distance of 70 metres to a concrete pillar at the North Western corner of Lot No. 1272; (f) thence on a grid bearing of 171º 55’ 41” for a grid distance of 152.386 metres to a concrete pillar at the South Western corner of Lot No. 1281; Dogs (Control) 9 (g) thence on a grid bearing of 81º 55’ 21” for a grid distance of 313.971 metres to a concrete pillar at the South Western corner of Lot No. 1218; (h) thence on a grid bearing of 81º 56’ 44” for a grid distance of 192.033 metres to a concrete pillar at the South Eastern corner of Lot. No. 1251; (i) thence continuing on the same grid bearing of 81º 56’ 44” for an approximate distance of 130 metres to a point on the Western boundary of parcel No. 1262 designated as the Belcast Campus site; (j) thence on a grid bearing of 341º 29’ 25” along the Western boundary of said parcel No. 1262 for an approximate distance of 632 metres to a concrete pillar at the South Western corner of Lot No. 1261; (k) thence along the South boundary of said Lot. No. 1261 on a grid bearing of 81º 29’ 33” for a grid distance of 76.203 metres of a concrete pillar; (l) thence on a grid bearing of 351º 30’ 20” for a grid distance of 75.529 metres to a concrete pillar; (m) thence on a grid bearing of 81º 56’ 33” along the outer side of the road reserve enclosing the Venezuelan Consul’s residence, the Roman Catholic Church and the Mexican Consul’s residence respectively, for a grid distance of 73.993 metres to a concrete pillar at the beginning of a curve; (n) thence continuing in a counter clockwise direction along the outer side of said road reserve for a grid distance of 32.938 metres to a concrete pillar; 10 Dogs (Control) (o) thence in a grid North direction for a grid distance of 163.363 metres to a concrete pillar at the beginning of another curve; (p) thence in a counterclockwise direction along the outer side of said road reserve for a grid distance of 29.723 metres to a concrete pillar; (q) thence on a grid bearing of 261º 56’ 33” for a grid distance of 167.937 metres to a concrete pillar; (r) thence on a grid bearing of 261º 56’ 33” for an approximate distance of 30 metres to a point on the East side of East Ring Road; (s) thence Northerly along the Eastern side of East Ring Road for an approximate distance of 312 metres to the Northern junction of said East Ring Road with Cemetery Road; (t) thence continuing Northerly for an approximate distance of 286 metres to a concrete pillar at the Southern Eastern corner of Parcel No. 1368; (u) thence on a grid bearing of 352º 00’ 23” for a grid distance of 259.077 metres to a concrete pillar; (v) thence on a grid bearing of 276º 59’ 08” for a grid distance of 155.453 metres to a concrete pillar being the North Western corner of said Parcel No. 1368; (w) thence in a Southerly direction for an approximate distance of 75 metres to a concrete pillar being the North Eastern corner of Lot No. 908; (x) thence on a grid bearing of 276º 59’ 08” for a grid distance of 201.214 metres to a concrete pillar at the North Western corner of Lot No. 920; Dogs (Control) 11 (y) thence North Westerly for an approximate distance of 35 metres to a point being the North Eastern corner of Lot No. 992; (z) thence on an approximate bearing of North 830 West for an approximate distance of 196 metres to a concrete pillar at the North Eastern corner of Lot No. 932; (aa) thence on a grid bearing of 276º 57’ 30” for a grid distance of 201.756 metres to a concrete pillar at the North Western corner of Lot No. 956; (bb) thence continuing Westward for an approximate distance of 106 metres to a concrete pillar at the North Eastern corner of Parcel No. 1092 occupied by the United States of America Embassy; (cc) thence on a grid bearing 256º 48’ 31” for a grid distance of 253.335 metres to a concrete pillar at the North Western corner of said Parcel No. 1092; (dd) thence on a grid bearing of 346º 49’ 11” for a distance of 175 metres to a point; thence Westerly for an approximate distance of 1,150 metres to a point on the East side of the Hummingbird Highway; (ee) thence Southerly along the East side of said Hummingbird Highway for an approximate distance of 1,800 metres back to the point of commencement.
