Restrictions on online gaming and application for a licence

(1) Subject to Regulation 5 below, any person who conducts or intends to conduct any online gaming in or from within Belize or who routes or intends to route any online gaming into or through Belize, shall apply to the Board for a license to do so in the form prescribed in the First Schedule to these Regulations and shall pay the fees specified in the Second Schedule to these Regulations.. (2) Every person who contravenes subregulation (1) above commits an offence. 250 Gaming Control (3) For the purpose of this regulation, every company or other entity incorporated and existing under the laws of Belize shall, if conducting any on-line gaming anywhere outside Belize, be deemed to be conducting on-line gaming from within Belize and shall need a licence from the Gaming Control Board of Belize in accordance with these Regulations.
