Interpretation and application

(1) In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires“the Act” means the Gaming Control Act; “the Board” means the Gaming Control Board established under section 4 of the Act; CAP. 285. “hotel” has the meaning assigned to it in the Hotels and Tourist Accommodation Act and includes a “tourist accommodation” as defined in that Act. (2) A word or a phrase which is used in these Regulations and not specifically defined in these Regulations but defined in the Act or in any other Regulations made under the Act shall have the respective meaning assigned to it either in the Act or in such Regulations, as the case may be. (3) These Regulations shall apply to licensed gaming premises only.
