Prohibition on using premises for gaming without a licence

(1) No person, being the owner or occupier of any premises, shall use or permit any such premises to be used as a common gaming house unless he is the holder of a valid gaming licence granted under this Act. (2) Every person who contravenes sub-section (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to both such fine and term of imprisonment.
