Section 4

(1) The premises in Belize City for which a restaurant license is applied for or is to be renewed shall haveRestaurant licence. Intoxicating Liquor Licensing [CAP. 150 9 (a) a dining-room containing at least three hundred square feet of floor area which shall be supplied with tables, suitable table furniture and other accommodation for at least twenty customers at one and the same time, and shall be enclosed to ensure for its customers privacy from the public gaze; (b) a kitchen with convenience for cooking meals therein adequate to provide bona fide meals for at least twenty customers at one and the same time; and (c) proper and sufficient sanitary arrangements and conveniences to meet the needs of all the customers. (2) The requirements in subregulation (1) of this regulation shall apply to the premises outside Belize City for which a restaurant licence is applied, except that the dining-room shall contain not less than one hundred and fifty square feet of floor area and the kitchen conveniences, and the sanitary arrangements and conveniences shall be adequate for at least ten customers.
