Leave on urgent private affairs

(1) Officers applying for leave on the grounds of urgent private affairs must satisfy the person authorized to grant such leave that the leave is unavoidable. This may be done confidentially if necessary. (2) For the purposes of these Regulations, “urgent private affairs” relates to death in the family, illness in the family, and such other personal business of a nature which, in the opinion of the Clerk, reasonably necessitates the Officer's absence from duty.
