Hours of duty

The minimum hours of attendance at work for the various categories of Officers shall be as determined by the Committee. All Officers shall be required to work a minimum of thirty-nine and one half-hours per week. No permanent alteration of the determined hours of work of any category of Officers may be affected unless the Committee so approves, but the Clerk may require any or all of the staff of the National Assembly to work temporarily for longer hours than those determined whenever the public interest so requires. Additional hours worked shall be compensated for by overtime for which prior approval shall be given by the Committee, or by time off in lieu of overtime. National Assembly Staff 31
