Incremental date

(1) The incremental date shall be the first day of a month if an Officer's date of appointment or promotion falls within the first to the fifteenth day of the month. An Officer whose date of appointment or promotion is after the fifteenth day as aforesaid, shall have his incremental date on the first day of the following Increment date. 66 National Assembly Staff (2) Subject to any specific conditions of appointment, continuous temporary service for a year on the part of an Officer in a post to which an annual scalar salary is attached shall, subject to satisfactory performance, qualify such Officer for the grant of an increment to his salary.
