Salaries for temporary staff

(1) Except as otherwise provided for in this Regulation, temporary staff shall be paid salary at the minimum rate appropriate to the recruiting grade of the particular category. In special circumstances, and subject to subregulation (2) of this Regulation, appointments may be made at a salary higher than the minimum of the recruiting grade. (2) In any case in which it is proposed that the person to be employed temporarily should receive salary higher than the minimum of the grade, the specific prior approval of the Committee shall be sought.
