Exemption from probation

An Officer of the National Assembly, on first appointment to an office in which he has satisfactorily performed the duties of a temporary capacity for a period equal to or of longer duration than the period of probation prescribed by Regulation 5 (3) above, shall not be required to serve on probation and shall be confirmed on appointment.
