Licensing of existing Refrigeration Technicians

(1) Within three months after the commencement of this Act, the Council shall, without payment of a fee, cause to be entered in the Register, the particulars specified in section 11(1) (a), (b) and (c) of this Act, of persons who can prove that immediately before such commencement, they were practising as Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians in Belize; and upon such entry, the persons shall be deemed to be Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technicians within the meaning of this Act and shall be licensed accordingly. (2) The Council shall issue to every person whose name is entered in the Register pursuant to subsection (1) of this section, a Certificate of Registration in the prescribed form.
