Interpretation

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, “animal” means a living vertebrate animal; “experiment” means an experiment performed on an animal and calculated to cause pain thereto; “licensee” means a person licensed under section 3 of this Act; “Minister” means the Minister responsible for health matters.
