Emergency Operations Centres

The National Coordinator shall be responsible for the establishment and maintenance of a National Emergency Operations Centre to function as the headquarters of the activities undertaken in response to a disaster emergency, and may establish and maintain supplementary Emergency Operations Centres or facilitate the establishment and maintenance of such supplementary Emergency Operations Centres, whether distributed according to geographical location or local government unit or otherwise, by persons or bodies in section 8(2)(a) of this Act.
