Discontinuance of area designation or plan preparation

The Prime Minister may, at any stage in the process of designation of a specially vulnerable area under section 15 or section 23 of this Act or of the preparation of a draft plan under sections 16 to 20 or section 24 of the Act, discontinue the process if the Prime Minister considers that the objectives of the draft plan have already been met under the provisions of any other law.
