Offences in respect of persons under 21 years of age

(1) No person shall sell, lend, give or otherwise dispose of any firearm or ammunition to any person without written permit from the Commissioner. (2) Subject to section 7(2B), no person under the age of 21 shall carry, keep, use, own or have in his possession any firearm (3) Notwithstanding sub-section (2), a person 16 years of age or older may buy, carry, keep, use, own or have in his possession a firearm or ammunition where that person has been granted a Farmer’s Gun Licence under section 7(2A). (4) A person who contravenes this section commits an Schedule III.
