Penalty for contravening regulations

Every person who infringes or contravenes any of the regulations made by the Governor-General under this Act is guilty of an offence and is liable on summary conviction to 6 such fine not exceeding two thousand dollars or to imprisonment for such term not exceeding twelve months, or to both such fine and term of imprisonment, as the Governor- General may prescribe.
