Petitions

Permission shall be granted by the Superintendent to any prisoner who requests to petition the Governor-General: Provided that– (a) the prisoner is not at the time awaiting a reply to a previous petition; 42 (b) if the prisoner has submitted a petition previous to such request during the same sentence, a reasonable period has elapsed.
