Duties and responsibilities

The Transport Officer shall– (a) have charge of any motor vehicles used by the prison, and keep such vehicles clean and in good working order at all times; (b) be responsible for and shall be liable to pay for any damage, repairs and replacements caused through his negligence to any motor vehicle of the prison, while such vehicle was under his (c) be responsible for all deficiencies in the quantity of any article received correctly by him to be transported to or from the prison. 87 Code of Discipline for Prison Officers
