Duties

The Schoolmaster shall– (a) give instructions in secular subjects to prisoners selected by the Superintendent for the at such hours as the Superintendent may from time to time direct; (b) keep proper records of time and duration of classes, names of prisoners under instructions and their progress and the course of instruction pursued; (c) submit to the Chief Education Officer through the Superintendent a programme of work for the ensuing year; (d) make monthly and annual reports in writing to the Superintendent as to the conduct and progress of the prisoners, and a copy of each such report shall be forwarded to the Chief Education Officer through the Superintendent.
