To accompany visitors

The Matron shall, unless unavoidably prevented, attend official visitors, the Superintendent and the Medical Officer on their visits to the women’s prison, and she shall not permit any male officer or male visitor, or male prisoner to enter the women’s prison unless accompanied by herself or by another woman officer.
