Enforcement of Rules, discipline

The Matron shall– (a) make herself acquainted with the Prison Rules and shall enforce them so far as they apply to the women prisoners and any officers under her; (b) be responsible to the Superintendent for the proper maintenance of discipline and the cleanliness and safe custody of all the women (c) make an to the Superintendent of any misconduct or breach of these Rules by a woman prisoner.
