Prisoners’ property

All money, clothing, or other effects belonging to a prisoner which he is not allowed to retain shall be placed in the custody of the Superintendent who shall be responsible for having an inventory thereof kept in the prisoners’ property book. This inventory shall be signed by the prisoner on his admission and on his discharge or removal.
