Employment of prisoners

The Superintendent shall ensure that all convicted prisoners are regularly worked in accordance with the rules for employment of prisoners, unless such prisoners are exempted by the Medical Officer. He shall also provide suitable employment for unconvicted prisoners who desire to work.
