Private medical attendant

If an untried prisoner desires the attendance of a registered medical practitioner or dentist and is able and willing to defray any expense thereby incurred, the Minister may, if he is satisfied that there is reasonable ground for the application, allow him to be visited and treated by that practitioner or dentist in consultation with the Medical Officer.
