Application of Rules

The seventeen following rules apply to persons, therein called “untried prisoners”, committed to prison in any of the following circumstancesRules. (a) on commitment for trial for an indictable (b) pending or in the course of hearing before a court of summary jurisdiction of a charge for an indictable offence, or pending or in the course of hearing of an information or (c) on commitment to await the hearing of an (d) on commitment to await extradition. 58
