Recommendation on diet

(1) The Medical Officer shall report in writing to the Superintendent the case of any prisoner to which he thinks it necessary on medical grounds to draw attention, and shall make such recommendations as he deems needful for the alteration of the diet or treatment of the prisoner or for his separation from other prisoners, or for the supply to him of additional clothing, bedding, or other articles. (2) The Superintendent shall, subject to such reference to the Chief Medical Officer, or the Minister as he may think fit, carry such recommendations into effect as far as practicable.
