Presence of a J.P

In all identification parades, a Justice of the Peace must be present to witness the conduct of the parade regardless of whether the parade is held face-to-face or by means of one-way mirror, or whether an attorney or friend of the suspect is also present. A statement should be recorded from the Justice of the Peace attending the parade as soon as practicable after the end J.P.
