Forfeiture and restoration

(1) A recipient of a Medal or Clasp who is convicted or removed from the Police Service for misconduct shall forfeit the Medal or Clasp unless the Governor-General shall otherwise direct. (2) A Medal or Clasp so forfeited may be restored to the recipient by the Governor-General at her discretion. (3) A notice of forfeiture or restoration shall in every case be published in the Gazette.
