Increments

(1) A member of the Department shall not be entitled to increments of salaries as of right but only with the approval of the Governor-General or the Security Services Commission, as the case may be. 20 Police (2) Before an increment is approved a certificate shall be required from the Commissioner that the member of the Department has discharged his duties with efficiency, diligence and fidelity.
