Replacement of lost Medal

Where a Medal has been lost, its recipient shall report the facts of its loss to the Commandant of the Force who shall investigate the circumstances surrounding the loss and the Commandant shall submit a recommendation to the Board as to whether the Medal should be replaced and if so, whether free of charge or at the expense of the recipient of the Medal.
