Promulgation

Any matter required to be promulgated by the Defence Act, shall be promulgated144 Defence (i) by being communicated to the accused; or (ii) if the accused absents himself without leave before any such matter can be communicated to him, by being published in the orders of the unit to which he belongs or is attached; or (iii) in such other manner as may be directed for special reasons by the confirming authority or reviewing authority, as the case may be.
