Evidence in Rebuttal

After the witnesses for the defence have given their evidence the prosecutor may call evidence to rebut the evidence given by the accused in his defence which the prosecution could not properly have mentioned to the court before the accused disclosed his defence or which the prosecution could not reasonably have foreseen.
