Deposit of plans to be ineffective

Where plans of any proposed work have been deposited in accordance with the building regulations or this Part, and either the plans have been passed or notice of rejection of them has not been given in accordance with this Part, and the work to which the plans relate has not been completed within five years of the deposit of those plans, the deposit of the plans shall be of no effect.
