Consultation in relation to applications

(1) The Director or the Technical Manager, in the case of a Building Unit shall consult with any public officer or other person who appears to him to be likely to provide information relevant to an application for building permission to enable the Director or the Technical Manager, in the case of a Building Unit to advise the Minister or the Authority or Building Unit, as appropriate, with regard to the application. (2) Any public officer or other person such as is mentioned in sub-section (1), or his representative, may be invited by the Authority or Building Unit to attend and speak at any meeting called to consider the relevant application.
