Election of foreman

When the jurors have been duly sworn, the Registrar shall request them to elect one of their number to be their foreman and they shall thereupon proceed to do so. If the majority of the jury do not, within such time as the judge may think reasonable, agree in the appointment of a foreman, the judge shall appoint as foreman the first juror called who has not been challenged.
