Fee for post mortem examination

Where any qualified medical practitioner, including a Government Medical Officer, has made an examination of the dead body of any person in obedience to any order or requirement under this Act, he shall, subject to the other provisions of the Act, be entitled to receive the prescribed fee, and the coroner, when the service as been performed, shall certify for payment the account of the medical practitioner. 23
