Failure to file declaration

(1) Where a person in public life fails to file a declaration under section 10 of this Act without reasonable cause or fails to furnish particulars under section 13 of this Act, the Commission shall publish the fact in the Gazette and shall send a report to the Director of Public Prosecutions for further action. (2) For purposes of this section, “knowingly failing to file a declaration” includes failure to make a disclosure of any material fact in the declaration.
