Duty to cooperate

(1) A supervisory authority shall expeditiously take such steps as it considers appropriate to cooperate with– (a) foreign regulatory authorities; and (b) law enforcement agencies in Belize. (2) Cooperation may include the sharing of documents and information which a supervisory authority is not prevented by this or any other law from disclosing. (3) Subject to section 75G, cooperation with a foreign regulatory authority or a law enforcement agency in Belize may not be refused on the grounds of secrecy or confidentiality.
