Extra-territorial jurisdiction

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law, the offences created by this Act shall be investigated, tried, judged and sentenced by a court in Belize regardless of whether or not an offence occurred in Belize or in 36[CAP. 104 Money Laundering and Terrorism (Prevention) another territorial jurisdiction, but without prejudice to extradition where applicable in accordance with the law.
