Negligence by persons in charge of dangerous things

Every person who– (a) being solely or partly in charge of any steam- engine, ship, boat, horse, or beast, or other dangerous thing or matter of any kind; or (b) having undertaken or being engaged in medical or surgical treatment of any person; or (c) having undertaken, or being engaged in the dispensing, supplying, selling, administering or giving away of any medicine or poisonous or dangerous matter, negligently causes harm to any person, or negligently endangers the life of any person, shall be liable to imprisonment for three years.
