Obstructing trains

Every person who knowingly and without lawful cause places or leaves any stone, metal, wood or other thing, or causes any animal to go or be in the way of any engine, carriage or train, upon a railway, whereby such engine, carriage or train, might be obstructed, shall, although he does not intend to cause harm or danger of harm to any person be liable to imprisonment for two years. 78
