Refusal to aid officers

Every person who being lawfully commanded by any magistrate, public officer, peace officer or person, to give aid for the prevention of crime, or for arresting any person, or for preventing the rescue or escape of any person refuses or neglects 158 to give such aid according to his ability, is guilty of a misdemeanour.
