Uttering damaged coin

(1) Every person who utters any current coin which has been defaced shall, on summary conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty dollars. (2) No proceedings shall be instituted under this section without the consent of the Director of Public Prosecutions. (3) A conviction for an offence under this section shall not be removed by certiorari into the Supreme Court and shall not be quashed for want of form.
